Sharing Love and Warmth this Winter

This winter, weather has gone crazy with moderate rains and leaping chills at various places. Kathmandu has experienced the coldest day with the temperature dropped to 0 Degree Celsius for the first time after 2010 according to news sources. Almost all people donned warm clothes like sweater, jackets, woolen cap, muffler and making fire to fight the chilling cold. On the other side, warm clothes are luxury; family under poverty line are struggling with the harsh weather, poor children are mostly suffering where parents are unable to afford the winter.

In this scenario, Higher Ground Nepal feels responsible towards the children living at brick kiln who are prone to seasonal health hazards. On 27th Jan, 2020 Higher Ground Family in coordination with local partner organized Winter Clothes Distribution program to fight this winter at brick kiln. We were able to provide warm clothes for 35 needy children and 38 adults. During the program, children thanked us in “Namaste” gesture which was worth a million-dollar happiness.

Our message to all through this program was- let us multiply and transform our society in some hundred, sixty and thirty folds…Now it’s your turn!
