Chandrakala Shrestha is a distinguished social entrepreneur and the Founding CEO of Higher Ground Nepal. Her credentials also include certification as a John Maxwell Coach, Speaker, and Trainer. A passionate advocate for social justice and mental health, she has dedicated herself to making a positive impact on society.
Sabina Thapa
Treasurer
Sabina Thapa is a highly qualified educator with a Master’s in Education from Torch Trinity International College, South Korea. As Treasurer of Higher Ground Community Development Nepal and Naya Jyoti Sasthan, she drives impactful change in Nepal. Additionally, she serves as a respected Professor at RPS, inspiring young minds.

Chuk Bahadur Rana, an Electrical Engineering expert, combines 8 years of technical prowess in Electrical repairs & Hydro Power with 23 years in Community Development, Emergency Response, & Children ministries. A respected HGCDN board member, his diverse skills, strategic vision, dedication, and integrity drive social welfare and sustainable progress.
Nikish Thapa

Nikish Thapa Neupane, Head of PSHE and Counseling at KISC, is an experienced Psychological Counselor with an MA in Leadership and Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology. As a senior ICDP trainer, she contributes to child development and provides valuable pre-marital, marriage counseling, and seminars.

Sharmila Budathoki has been serving as a board member of Higher Ground since 2019. She completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the School of Business, Pokhara University. Sharmila has been actively involved in various NGOs and INGOs since 2012, serving in diverse capacities.
