To empower women and youths, Skill Development Training has been one of the effective programs to prevent the risk of trafficking, violence, and poverty. Higher Ground Bakery at Bhaisepati is our new branch which supports our vision of the Training Center.
On 21st Jan 2020, 7 participants were certified for the successful completion of 10 days of intensive Bakery Training facilitated by our Trainer Ms. Rupmati Jirel. Likewise, on 23rdFeb, 2020, Professional Barista Mr. Dinesh Thapa imparted hot and cold coffee-based 7 days Intensive Barista Training to 4 young girls and boys.
The outcome of the training can be measured as the participants had good knowledge of Baking & Barista and understanding of appliances and ingredients at the end of the training. With positive feedback received from the participant’s, we were able to help the participants to identify their calling to the business, develop a profession as well as building an ecosystem for sustainable livelihood.
